WINGAS presents Reckrod compressor station

WINGAS invites you to an open day with expert discussions, an info-stand and a competition on the premises of the Reckrod compressor station:

Reckrod compressor station is an important point in the WINGAS long-distance gas pipeline system. Here up to 1.6 million cubic metres of gas rush through the pipeline per hour. The two large WINGAS long-distance pipelines meet in Reckrod: the STEGAL (Sachsen-Thüringen-Erdgas-Leitung or Saxony-Thuringia connection pipeline), which transports gas from Russia to German customers, and the MIDAL (Mitte-Deutschland-Anbindungs-Leitung or Middle Germany connection pipeline), which brings the high-energy cargo from the largest natural gas storage plant in Rehden in Lower Saxony.

WINGAS experts will be delighted at the open day to provide all those interested with more information about how the compressor station works, the long-distance pipeline system, or transportation and storage of natural gas.
